The Shape of Water & Wish Upon – Trailer (2017)

There are 2 movies that i can’t wait to watch ASAP.
I’m not into horror movie, but i think i can watch this one. LOL

  1. The Shape of Water (2017) –  AdventureDramaFantasy

An other-worldly fairy tale, set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1963. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of silence and isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment.
  2. Wish Upon (2017) –  FantasyHorrorThriller

Twelve years after discovering her mother’s suicide, Clare is bullied in high school, embarrassed by her hoarder father, and ignored by her longtime crush. All that changes when her dad comes home with an old music box whose inscription promises to grant its owner seven wishes. While Clare is initially skeptical of this magic box, she can’t help but be seduced by its dark powers, and is thrilled as her life radically improves with each wish. Clare finally has the life she’s always wanted and everything seems perfect – until the people closest to her begin dying in violent and elaborate ways after each wish.

For the first movie, The Shape of Water, i found similarity between the “secret classified experiment” with Abe Sapien from Hellboy (2014).
Both are directed by Guillermo del Toro. And that might be the reason.
This movie is supposed to be ‘lighter’ than Hellboy and as sweet as Pan’s Labyrinth.

Can’t wait to watch this on December 2017.

How sweet is this pic btw. 😀
Once I had a fav super hero called “Deni si Manusia Ikan” and it was a comic strip on a child magazine called Bobo. LOL
And now, we’ve had mer-man from DC, and Abe Sapien.

And for the second movie, Wish Upon.
Fact that this is the 4th Horror movie which will feature Joey King. She acted in Wan’s The Conjuring and Quarantine and is rumored to be set to co-star in an upcoming Slenderman film adaption.

This movie is already on cinema (in Indonesia) from today.
So I think I’m going to watch it today, since i’ve got nothing to do all day long. LOL
Wait for the review.
